From a young age, Young-Gi exhibited a profound affinity for creativity, exploring a plethora of artistic mediums - from filmmaking to crafting, photography to nail art. Yet, beneath these diverse interests lay a singular and unyielding dream: to become an artist.
However, the path to becoming a professional artist was not a direct one. Faced with the practicalities of life, Young-Gi first pursued a career in primary education, a choice made with financial security in mind. But the flame of art never wavered; it was merely waiting for the right moment to ignite.
It was during moments of adversity that Young-Gi discovered the true healing power of art. Turning to art therapy during times of struggle, she found solace in painting. It was then, when she first laid brush to canvas, that her transformative journey began. Through each brushstroke, Young-Gi bared her heart, allowing her deepest emotions to flow. Eleven years later, armed with the diploma that marked the end of her studies, Young-Gi seized the moment she had been waiting for—a chance to dedicate herself entirely to her art. With unwavering determination, she honed her skills through online school to acquire the necessary skills to bring her inner visions to life and emerging as a professional artist. She knew that her destiny was to be a conduit for emotions, a bridge between the depths of the human soul and the canvas before her.
Today, Young-Gi's art is a mesmerizing fusion of emotive realism and abstraction. In her work, Young-Gi uses a playful and dynamic approach to explore and express emotions freely, inviting viewers to discover their own depths and celebrate spontaneity and the joy of life.
